Hunger Walkathon West CROP WALK is a community effort of more than 30 congregations, schools & organizations to help hungry people in our community & throughout the world.
Through June 2nd $63,373.11 has been raised. Thank You!

Since 1983 Hunger Walkathom West has raise a combined total of over $800,000!

The 2008 Walk will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2008 starting at Pilgrim Congregational Church.

Fund Destinations:
Twenty-five percent of the funds raised by the WALK help locally by supporting Oak Park/River Forest Food Pantry, Forest Park Food Pantry, Pine Avenue Food Pantry, Proviso Food Pantry, Vital Bridges, St Eulalia Catholic Church ECHO Food Pantry, Columbus Park Food Pantry, Cluster Tutoring, PADS, and OPRF Walk-In Ministry.

Seventy-five percent is used by Church World Service (CWS) for disaster relief, self-help development projects & food in more than eighty impoverished countries.

Please Remember...
One-hundred percent of the money raised by walkers goes to Church World Service (CWS) & local agencies to alleviate hunger. Business sponsors provide funds to cover all administrative costs with the excess sponsor money going directly for hunger relief.
